I Miss You is on sale and stuff!

"I am glad you told me that you had cancer and I am glad you answered all of the questions I asked. I didn’t feel like you were keeping secrets from me. You and mom let us be a part of everything. After you died, mom let us pick some of your books and pictures to keep. We like having some things around the house that make us think of you."

The book is written in the form of a letter from a little girl to her father who has passed away. This is a fairly common activity given to children to let their feelings go. The whole book was based on my experiences, mixed with my little sister's. This was entirely therapeutic for me, and hardly any of this made me sad at all. In fact, the idea that I might be able to help someone because of my own experiences makes me pretty much the happiest person on the face of the Earth!

This is what has been occupying my time for the last several months. I finally did it! The book will be shown at the BFA show tomorrow through May 22nd, and you can order your own copy from in hardcover or paperback!
